This year, we explored cutting-edge solutions for environmental policies to address the drivers of climate change: land use, transportation, energy production, and technological developments. PCL strongly believes we are already experiencing the catastrophic impacts of the climate crisis. Our panels explore immediate short-term solutions and strategies for the future.
We were honored this year to have our keynote address delivered by California State Senator and former Mayor of West Sacramento, Christopher Cabaldon. Under Cabaldon’s leadership, West Sacramento led the nation in innovations in personal mobility and next-generation transit, urban farming, flood protection, and urban revitalization.
PCL’s Assembly focuses on the existential threats of the day – and explored opportunities to address them head-on.
